GDF SUEZ, via its subsidiary Cofely South East Asia, announced today the purchase of Keppel FMO, a subsidiary of Keppel Infrastructure Holdings Private Ltd.

Keppel FMO (“KFMO”) is one of the strongest providers of integrated facilities management (FM), property management, operation and maintenance, and FM consultancy services in Singapore, operating across a wide spectrum of industries and markets, including airport, rail, healthcare, education, government, mission-critical commercial facilities. Keppel FMO employs around 1,000 people and generates annual revenues of around 55 million Euros.

Cofely South East Asia offers a unique combination of service expertise, from the design, implementation and management of energy and utility solutions, to the operational delivery of integrated facilities management.

In Singapore, the acquisition, combined with Cofely’s Singaporean operations, will give Cofely a strong position in this sector and will enable GDF SUEZ Energy Services to expand its environmental and energy efficient solutions in South East Asia.

Jérôme Tolot, Executive Vice-President of GDF SUEZ, in charge of the Energy Services Business Line, also added: “This acquisition builds on Cofely’s European leading position in energy efficient solutions to equip us with additional capabilities for the delivery of integrated facilities management services. Cofely has the ambition to double its revenues outside Europe within the next 5 years and South East Asia is one of the main regions we want to invest in.”
