Cofely South East Asia is honored to be appointed by the developer, Lend Lease, as the ESD consultant for this project.

The consultancy services include providing ESD guidance to achieve Green Mark Platinum award, energy modeling, CFD and wind modeling, wind and rain effect analysis, daylight and direct simulations.

Jurong Gateway is a mixed-use commercial development located at Jurong Lake District comprises commercial office, retail, food and beverage spaces. The mixed development includes a commercial office building with an approximate gross floor area (GFA) of 32,000 m2 and a retail mall with an approximate GFA of 76,000 m2.

The commercial office building will be the headquarters of the Ministry of National Development which is the ministry in charge of the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Building and Authority Construction (BCA), two key Government Agencies responsible for environmental sustainability and Green Building development in Singapore. NEA is the agency that supervises the ESCOs industry, whereas BCA formulates and regulates the Green Mark scheme in Singapore. Thus, the Jurong Gateway project is targeting for “Beyond Platinum” status, which means exceeding the criteria of Green Mark Platinum award in terms of environmental sustainability.
