Awards & Accreditations
Safety is a shared responsibility and a core part of our everyday work at ENGIE. Guided by ENGIE’s One Safety culture, we focus on preventing risks, promoting wellbeing, and protecting our people and operations. Through the 5 Safety Essentials — assessing risks, applying life-saving rules, stopping unsafe work, reporting incidents and practising shared vigilance, our teams stay committed to ensuring that no life, mind, or asset is at risk.
This year, we are honoured to receive several industry awards that reflect the dedication of our teams and the strong partnerships we have built. We thank Changi Airport Group, SBS Transit, and JTC for recognising our efforts and supporting our continuous journey toward safety excellence.
- Airport Safety Award — Changi Airport Group
The Annual Airport Safety Awards represent the highest safety recognition by Changi Airport Group, honouring outstanding contributions to safety culture, innovation and frontline engagement.
Top 3 Safety Exhibit
Our “One Safety Think Talk Act” initiative showcased how digital tools — intelligent apps, integrated platforms and real-time reporting — help us empower our frontline, enhance visibility, and foster stronger collaboration between our Health & Safety and Operations teams. We were also invited to exhibit our safety initiatives at the Changi Airport Group Safety Exhibition on 14 November. Being selected as one of the Top 3 Safety Exhibits was a proud moment for our team and a testament to our continuous efforts to create safer, smarter work environments.
Individual Recognitions
- Bronze Award – Naing Win: Intervened to stop unsafe work at height and ensured fall protection was used.
- Bronze Award – Thaw Za: Identified unsafe work without PPE near an aircraft and took immediate corrective action.
- Near Miss Reporters - Mohd Nazrul & Govindhasamy Sasikumar: Identified a potential aircraft-to-equipment hazard and alerted Airside Control Centre, preventing a possible incident.

- Safe Business Partner Award (Silver) — SBS Transit
Our Engineering & Sustainability Team received the Silver Safe Business Partner Award at the inaugural International Metro Operators’ Summit (IMOS 2025). This marks our second consecutive year being recognised for strong safety performance within SBS Transit premises.
- Construction & Safety Award 2025 — JTC
The PDD-DCS team received a Special Mention at the JTC Construction & Safety Award 2025 for proactively identifying hazards within the JTC compound and working closely with JTC to address them.
These awards reflect our ongoing commitment to building a safe, responsible and collaborative working environment. We remain dedicated to strengthening the One Safety culture and continuing to improve our practices across all operations.
